Pyramid Shrine is Connecticut's oldest chapter of Shriners International and is a shining example of our state's proud Masonic heritage. Fun and Philanthropy is our credo and every year our fraternity gives its time, funds, and spirits to our most noble cause, supporting the Shriner's Hospitals For Children.
We currently run a number of monthly and yearly events including happy hour fellowship events, sporting event parties, dinners, and sandwich drives.
Freemasonry's motto is to "Take Good Men and Make Them Better."
However, being a Shriner is more than that. Our organization takes those "better men" and pushes them to continue improving through the pursuit of "fun and philanthropy."
Too many children suffer from a lack of access to quality healthcare. That's why since 1922 Shriners across the United States and beyond have put immense efforts towards creating one of the finest children's healthcare networks in the world.
It goes beyond honor and duty. Our youths are our future and they deserve the best chance possible.
Pyramid's several hundred members have created a thriving community presence including our nationally ranked Pipes and Drums band, hilarious Klowns, and astounding Tiny Wheels units.
We have a number of clubs too including Golf, Sportsman, Motorcycles, Brew Crew, BBQ club, and more.
We are currently exploring new marketing, membership, and technological initiatives with an emphasis on being a focal point of wholesome fun in Connecticut.
